when all the seasons ended i watched them from ep 1 to ep 10 about 5 times the following year because they were amazing, all except season 7 and 8. What a lot of people are forgetting aswell is that season 8 took 2 years to produce 6 episodes and it felt like they took a year and a half off and thought... FUCK, 6 months to go and we got nothing... just make dany go mad and kill everyone, dont forget to subvert the expectation that this season will be good

The ending itself isn’t bad, it’s the way they made it. It was way too rushed, bad character writing and massive plot holes. If they would take their time and put a little more effort in it, the ending would be way more beautiful

I think most hates it not because of ending, but because of writing. If they showed how Danny became evil not in one episode, like it's need more time, it would be better. And it's just a little bit of stuff that could be better. Even if there would be 10 episodes instead of 6, but the same story, just wider with more dialogs and so on it could be better

lazy writing. the ending was okay but the entire season was lazy could have been much more in the story department. many loose ends in side stories. i dont mind the ending at all its a good ending but everything from episode 2 last season to the last 10 min of the final episode was just lazy. but i guess i will be reading the books when all of them is done havent read anything yet but the lack of story in the final season made me really want to read the books. but i will wait for them all before i even start

subverted expectations for the sake of it is very unsatisfying. The transitions didnt make sense what so ever and whole character arcs were put into the bin. Big thumbs down. The last season is on much lower standards then the first few. But hey, it looks as shiny as ever.
