Imachinist S64514 Bi-metal Band Saw Blades 64-1/2" X 1/2" X 14tpi for Cutting Metal

  • Bi-metal type, 64-1/2" long, 1/2" wide, 14tpi
  • 14tpi is suitable for cutting thin pipe tube profiles etc
  • 14TPI is fixed teeth profile, teeth distance is 1.8mm per teeth
  • Perfect for soft metal
  • Suits all bandsaws which use 64-1/2" long, 1/2" wide bandsaw blade

Has cut through 10 4-1/2" 7075 aluminum slugs, over 20 2" slugs, and much more and blade is still chugging along. Awesome use for both vertical through thin sheets and horizontal through massive plates or slugs.

These blades last longer without breaking than any I have tried. Even after the blade failed eventually, the teeth remained sharp. I used it to cut mild steel. A great blade for the $$. I am reordering.

Was a bit concerned as to whether it would be fit for purpose. Now i've used one of the blades on a few objects i''m more than happy with it.It should last me a while.I see no reason so long as your not cutting in a rush & putting too much pressure on the blade or speed, the blade will last.Suitable for home handyman or lite fabrication.Teeth will clog if you cut ally, however it will cut it & the teeth are easy to clear.Lastly when finished using your bandsaw loosen the blade tension & don't store the saw with tension applied. Also there is a noticeable noise when the blade (goes through the cut,i assume its where the join is),it was a bit disconcerting at first,i don't believe it will be an issue

Im pleasantly surprised with how long these blades last me. I cut everything i can on my band saw. Steel, stainless, copper, aluminum, wood, pvc, even cardboard. This blade has held up forever through all of that.

I bought 2 of these and have cut a lot of metal and I still haven’t burned the first one up

Works great for the price. After 4 months of fairly consistant use for a few projects i have chipped some teeth on it. Likely operator error and not the fault of the blade and i will likely order another one to replace the first.

works good as any of the These are as good as any I have used to date. 11/20/17 These are high quality blades at a good price the blade has smooth seams and no skip at weld, I have bought 4 total and like them very much and will continue buying from this seller.

After opening the package i found that the blade was bent as if something had hit the package, which should be delivered in a box instead of a bubble envelope. I had no choice and had to use anyways, and it has made about 200 cuts(with bend and twist in blade) so far and doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. Bent blade was most likely damaged in transit but could've been avoided with a BOX

I bought this a week ago on 10/18/17 and received it on 10/21/17 I have used it every day I cut 1/8" up to 1/2 A36 steel and some stainless steel, 3/16 and 1/4 angle at different degrees from 5° to 45° this blade works perfect so far one of the best blades I've bought although I kind of wish I had of purchased the 10Tpi blade instead I think this is still a good buy.
